Was out with the 6D and 24-105 yesterday, I had the tripod but needed a higher vantage point..there were a set of railings which looked perfect to attach a gorillapod to...

What's your experience using one with a full frame body and zoom?

Would the 'Focus' model be my best bet ?

Someone's going to say it so I will! ...

...FF as in the Sony RX1 or D4!?

Anyway, I have the focus = you won't want anything less than that.

With the legs out, it will take the weight of my gripped D7000 & 70-200mm f2.8

If I'm wrapping it around something then it's going to be ungripped and a smaller lens, up to 500g.

Not sure it matters whether it's a full frame camera or not.

6D / 24-105 is a fairly light combo. SLR Zoom might do (some manage, others disagree) but I'd just go with the Focus.

My 5d mkii with 24-105mm is ok on the zoom provided your careful when wrapping it round things.

SLR Zoom wrapped around something sturdy holds a D700 with a 24-70 f/2.8 still. Having said that, if the Focus had been available when I bought the Zoom, I would have gone for the Focus instead but at the time, the SLR Zoom was the best available.

SLR Zoom was just about fine for me using a D600 and 180mm f2.8, just need to be a bit clever about how you use it as really it's too heavy for it in less than optimal positions.
