Yes
Had planned trip yesterday to hopefully see Spotted Crake, a quick looksee from the hide before I left. Heard a screeching type noise and this appeared. Have seen them (about four) in the treetops in woods previously but never down low. Never did get to see the Crake.

Super capture - I have yet to see one of those.

Thanks all for your comments, and yes I count myself very lucky in this case.
As to the quarry maybe this will help.

Superb pictures Ceejay and catching a grey makes it even better :D

Wow, rather see that than a Crake! You lucky person and great shots too.

Both excellent capture's but the one with the dead tree-rat is for me the best.
Regards

WOW, Thank you all for the kind comments, much appreciated.
There is the squirrel in the first pic, it is upside down showing its teeth.
Probably not very clear though.
Must say after this I am at a bit of a loss as to what pic to post next !
Still not long till the end of October so hopefully the regular wintering juvenile,
(must be 3 or 4 years old now) Golden Eagle will be back for a few months.

Cracking shot and well pleased at one less grey squirrel over here as long as it does not develope a taste for reds.

Keep coming back to look at these as both excellent shots! (y)
