Hi,
I bought a Nikkor 20-35mm F2.8 on eBay :)
was looking for a wide fast zoom, but couldn't afford 17-35 2.8 ... so I've found this.

I know it is quite a old lens but still took a gamble and now I'm happy.

Only signs of worn are on the lens from the hood ( was not supplied with the lens :( ) apart from that it looks good.

took quick sample photos to see if it works properly and if it sharp or soft.
It is sharp enough. so am happy with it.
Here is a photo of the lens itself and 2 100% ( maybe bit more % ) crops with no sharpening at all straight from RAW

maybe it doesn't look sharp on crop from 20mm but at this focal length and crop I am happy with it
 
sorry - these don't look sharp to me - have you done any PP on them?
 
raw files need sharpening! you can't judge properly 'straight from camera' - they need processed!
 
I know I know ! ;p

but Ive seen worse RAW's at max aperture :) and am happy with those :)

Im not pixel peeper :) and don't think that I will look on huge crops like in this case after taking photos later on :)
will try to upload same examples with sharpening later on :)

yesterday had first opportunity to take this lens out :)
As I was on Southbank, I had to get nice wide shot of London eye :)

and so I did.
all the colors straight from the camera just stunned me...
here is a photo , barely any tweaking with it...
never had anything wider than 35 ;)
