Its moving the onus for collecting VAT from overseas sellers from the seller to the platform (marketplace platforms)

There is a slight upside. at least now we are only charged the VAT and any Import Duties, and no longer have the additional charges for the UK mail or carriers collection charges. That had risen to £12 with Parcel Force. last year.

There always has been a small clique of members on here who are totally anti grey market goods . So linked posts like this inevitably come up frequently , i.m.h.o there’s no need to panic buy if the likes of panamoz ,hdew, or Cotswolds etc list a price then that’s what you pay at time of ordering ,nothing extra , prices always fluctuate be it either via a u.k shop or a grey market importer .. sure to be. A few bargains coming up either via Black Friday or Xmas day sales
