I'm probably talking nonsense, I have no idea what this would involve but I saw that on some compact camera, a built in ND filter is present.
Is this an electronic filtering or an actual filter?
Would it be possible to have the same thing on SLR camera? Would it be the same thing at creating an ISO 25 / ISO 12.5 / ISO 6.25.....?
Would it be possible by twicking the iso apply to each cell of the sensor to create an electronic grad filter?
Lot's of question, but i was just thinking that it seems possible to me to change the ISO throught the sensor and it would be ideal filtering pixel by pixel!
