whats best to go with, notice the wekding glass type and also noticed the lens attachment type also but obviously they are size specific this type.

can any one share there thoughts on the ones for quality results please.

Its for keeping skies looking nice.

With the Cokin system you just get an adapter to fit it to whatever the filter size is on your lens - they are mostly around a tenner I think. No experience of any others but I'm happy with the Cokin system so far.

Agree with the above, get a Cokin set, they are known to have a small colour cast but it's not massively noticeable and can easily be corrected in PhotoShop.

A Cokin P Sized holder allows you to fit any compatible filters, I use Hitech filters in mine which are supposedly better than the Cokin brand ones.

Slot in filters are much better for graduated filters as they allow you to align the filter with your image, screw-ins are best for strong plain ND filters.

You do get a colour cast but this can work in your favour

Get the Cokin holder, but use the Hitech hard ND grad filters. Cokin's are all soft, and I find them not all that useful myself if you have sharp distinct horizon lines.
