Grasshopper

Very nice. The grasshopper stands out well from the background. And what an interesting colour the grasshopper is. I've never seen anything like that.

FWIW it is such a good composition etc that I'd be inclined to clone out the bright yellow bit over on the left hand edge, which keeps distracting my eye and spoiling the lovely balance of the image.
 
Excellent colourings ... what a find and very nicely shot. agree with the distracting lhs yellow maybe crop it out rather than bothering with cloning.

looks like a field grasshopper they vary in colour quite a bit from buff orange to purple

Yes that's what I thought too it would look better keeping the end of the stalk that it's on
Should be straight forward to clone out the yellow blob
Amazing grasshopper not seen anything like it before
