Great Crested Grebes

Derek, very nice image... I like the light, as it helps to make the birds stand out. I might have cropped the bottom bit off though.

What looks like a thick halo around the left birds head ... just the light or some dodging done?
 
Always great to see these graceful birds especially at this time of year. A lovely image Derek and well done.

It was the reflection of a fence out of image in the background.
