Great Egret and Little Egret

I like both as BiF but the standout one for me is the Little Egret :)
 
Nice shots, I would have a go at cloning out the green foliage in No 1, would improve it imo.
 
Both nice. Number 2 is the standout image though, the pose and light are good with good control of the whites especially in strong lighting like that. There are a few bright spots but nothing that IMO spoils the image.

I find the first image a little dark, I'm guessing this is to control the whites too and maybe you got some cloud cover as well. I think you're allowed for the majority of Natural History competitions to remove within reason objects from images that may distract and I think you'd be ok removing the foilage as suggested.

Both nice images, nice work.
