I've just been out with the camera, but seeing as it was freezing I thought I'd go and get some gloves first.

Went to Cotswold Outdoor and tried a load on, most being a bit thick and not giving any feel for the camera.

Then I found a perfect pair.

They're fantastic so far!:thumbs: Not too thick so still let me feel all the buttons on the camera and kept my hands nice and warm.

I thought the whole "E-Tip" would be a bit of a gimmick and it definitely wasn't the reason I bought them, but it really is like not having the gloves on when I'm using my iphone which is a great bonus. :D

They cost me £22, which I wouldn't normally have spent on a pair of gloves but am very glad I did now.

So, if you're looking for some gloves for these chilly times then I can highly recommend them.
 
I tried these on in Blacks but wasn't sure how warm they would be for the money. Liked the idea of the e-tip though.

I must say I don't usually suffer from cold hands and it's only when it's been as cold as this, that I do. They kept my hand warm this afternoon and I was down by the seafront so it was pretty windy as well.

Forgot to say as well, they've got nice grippy stuff on the palm and fingers which is great for keeping hold of the camera.
 
I saw these on the Gadget Show the other week, look like a great pair of gloves especially for touch screen users!

I've got a pair of SealSkinz UltraGrip gloves. They're waterproof and I can operate my D700 fine with them. They're jut not as warm as my Lowe Alpine fingerless mittens, though.
