Why has this bit of kit not been around for years? Take away the cost of the crappy little screens on most cameras and make and sell something like this thing instead.

Much better for people like me with glasses who struggle to see a standard screen clearly and get stressed out farting around moving our glasses out the way of the viewfinder plus a great opportunity for another must have gizmo.

I think this could be the best thing since the three legged mono pod

With video becoming more popular, especially serious shooting on DSLRs, there are more and more of these screen appearing. Been around a few years now

seriously someone needs to come up with live view apps for the ipad that allow direct connection via the camera connection kit.

It would be great to be able to use something like eos utility on the ipad, but with added video control/display as well
