For 125 at 300 - that's a great shot & the ISO is holding up.

Are those a few out of place feathers around the eye? or some kind of infection it has do you reckon?

It doesn't look good for the bird tbh.. Closer look at the photo shows what looks like an infection!

The perch is part of a broken tree?

I showed the photo to the guy that runs the feeding station i use and he said they have been fighting alot lately? .. Didn't sound like a reasonable explanation tbh!

It seemed happy enough, very lively and feeding alright.
