They are a very photogenic bird. Are you still shooting through a double glazed filter?
 
Lovely bird Ken with #2 imo being the better of the two shots due to the tail not being cropped. You are lucky to be able to photograph them. As you have enabled the edit option I did a quick edit. Just raising the saturation and sharpness.

:LOL::LOL: Are they shot through a window or door? I am just wondering if it was possible to open it :shrug: thus saving having to learn said photoshop skills ;)
