Some shiny Green Dock Beetles from today's mini beast safari at Springwood. All taken using Canon 100mm Macro, Canon EP25 Ext Tube and Ringflash. Manual Mode, 1/200th, f11, iso200 with ringflash at -2/3rds EV.
I find the lighting a tad harsh in the first two but I love the colours and focus and DOF is perfect!
Is the ring flash as it comes or do you use some sort of diffuser?
