Green Hairstreak

Caught this one on a very windy day . They "tip" over & lay their wings along the plant which loses any shadows. This one was caught just on take off

Not sure ive seen one of them before. Interesting colouring. You not seen a single one Susane? Ive seen loads so far. Very few of them sit still though.

Nope not one, and I have loads of flowers in my garden, seen ton's of bee's thought, zippy little suckers! can't capture em.

Thats nice, great capture. I've never seen one of those before either, will have to try and find one as they are pretty I think the 2 main reasons I miss macro shots are the bug moves or the wind blows lol.

Well Ive never seen one of these ever,,, what a lovely shade of green with that bronze.
