Hi all,

Just wondered if anyone uses green screen regularly?

been looking at a couple of extraction programmes, Photokey 2 http://fxhome.com/photokey/demo-downloads
and also the green screen wizard. http://www.greenscreenwizard.com/

Anyone had any experience of either of these?

or, would you suggest any different. I havent had much joy using just the colour range, or other various photoshop options.:bang:

Appreciate any advice. Thanks

On One , Mask Pro, plugin for Photoshop works really well including hair . It works on the principle of picking colours to keep and colours to drop. Can be used on plain or busy backgrounds.

Hair and other fine detail can be very difficult to select using a Chromakey type option. The only real way is a good masking program such as the Mask Pro option for Photoshop. There is also Knock Out from Corel, a fairly inexpensive piece of software, but not as good as Mask Pro for hair and other fine parts of the image.

does mask pro support a batch process, from what i can see of it, it appears to be very image, and colour specific. could the settings be made to be constant, providing that the green screen is lit properly and consistantly?

if so has anyone used this function and is it any good?

thanks

RE MASK PRO:
I think you could set up an action in photoshop to speed up processing and this shoud work if,as you say, your background is consistant and you just set colours to drop and leave it to keep all other colours.
