Agree previous posters about the extra space, but other than that it's a fine image.

One more vote for more space on the left for the bird to look into. Can I suggest trying a larger apperture than f/7.1 you used, your lens can go to f/5.6 I think, this is to reduce the depth of field slightly, that will help to increase the blur in the background Good detail and pose though and nice exposure, I like this picture. Welcome to TP as well

Its a wonderful image of the bird with superb feather detail but I think the snow (background around it) is a little to bright.
