Hi, I'm Mel, just joined the site after spending the last few days browsing. I take a lot of photos for work social media accounts and enjoy taking pics. Have a DSLR that I've not used for yonks and a compact I use for most of my pics. Hoping joining will inspire me to take more photos and improve my photography, in particular getting to grips with manual functions. I'm not very good with all the technical jargon but my goal is to properly learn about exposure and what all the technical terms mean!
 
Welcome and best of luck with your (re)newed hobby. There's lots of great architecture in the city, oodles of "street" opportunities and, of course, some spectacular landscapes all under an hour's drive.

There's no excuse not to get into photography in & around Glasgow! :D
