Grey Wagtail

Nice clear sky, sun beaming down, and this Grey Wagtail comes bobbing up the brook in search of food ... unfortunately with the sun being low, the brook was in deep shade, despite many requests he would not pop up onto a stem and pose for me in the sunlight.

This is about the only water that is not frozen at Belvide, but I bet it is still a bit cold to be paddling in

These are beautifully sharp and I like the tonal qualities; the better pose is #2. That water looks so cold it is almost frozen...lovely images

Tina that is ice in the first shot, it was frozen over a bit further downstream of this shot.
