grip for D5000

morning,

dad has asked me to look in to getting a grip for his D5000.. now between the nikon site being not very much use at all and google not throwing up anything that i would concider useful, im a little stuck.

first off, is there a genuine nikon one? second, are there 3rd party units available.

thanks for any help
 
There isn't an OEM Nikon one, but it's the same fitment as for the D40, so 3rd party ones can be found on Ebay for loose change
