No
One of the sections falls out when it's parent section is loosened.

Also won't collapse fully without leaving an inch gap

Any ideas, only just got it but on holiday at the mo

had similar with a redsnapper.. one of the internal plastic mounts and plastic thread between the leg sections had snapped.. if it keeps falling out sounds like similar issue and wont go in the full way because the part thats possibly broken is inside the section of leg. it may just have come loose and a case of strip the section down and try and see if the fault is visible and repairable .
without pic of the offending tripod leg hard to picture the exact problem

Just fixed it.

Each section has two plastic bits which aren't really fixed, it was the second section down had lost its pieces somehowabove the first section.

All fixed now thanks

yep kinda like semi circular clips... seems alot of round tube tripods have those and they can be pretty rubbish . had nothing but issues with my rednsapper tripod and sent it back twice.. dont bother with it now as its still not right so use my Benro instead which is a bit smaller and lighter with a ball head ( really need to get something better with pan and tilt head i think. )

Not only has it happened again but now I lost two of the feet as well....sigh

That's not very good. Do they have any dealers etc over there that might be able to help ???

Well I just spoke to amazon who will have a replacement to my work in the UK tomorrow. I will send this one back when I get home.

I can manage for now :)

Hope it's not a general problem with them

That's good news and yes, hope it's an isolated problem
