I have a bluehost account and I have 2 websites running from it, I want to change (almost re-do) the secondary website but last time I had issues uploading images and had to make another folder somewhere... now I can't remember what I did and I'm sure I've just deleted the folder I needed and dunno how to make it again :( *sob*

Anyone know what I'm going on about and what I need to do? :sulk: :(

You must have a control panel page which allows you to install software etc? If so you should be able to create a folder in your web space from there. Failing that use filezilla to gain access to your root folder and use that to create a folder.
It's difficult to tell you more because I don't use that particular host but hopefully my thoughts will jog your memory.

I find the best way is to create all the folders etc on my Mac, then upload the entire site, all the links work this way and there is no messing about with folders and images not linking correctly.

I have no bloomin' idea at all but I have tons of sympathy for you.

I've lost nearly the whole day to trying to make very simple, idiot proof and totally basic web stuff work.

If you're using filezilla or another FTP prog then you'll probably need to go into the PUBLIC_HTML folder first, this will be the home folder for the website.

Where you put the pictures will depend the links to specified when you created the webpages.

what program are you using to design your website?

Thanks, I'm using something called summit like website wizard (part of the set up for bluehost) I'm going to change the secondary site to a blog if I can and the primary site leave as is. That way I can upload to the blog reguarly (I want to do my 365 on a blog as well as here) and not disrupt the other site.

Ah sorry never used that myself. I create the pages on my PC then upload them to the host using a FTP program (filezilla is great).

Good luck with your site.
