Not sure if I like the light on this,opinions?

It was sat in a sycamore tree in very dappled light.

Was he sat on the window of the hide Ade? good catch and the light looks nice and natural this end.

Its a crop from this mate.

The OOf twig in front of the bird spoils the full shot,no way around that when I shot it.

I prefer the full shot composition wise, I think it might be improved by darkening the OOF twig, sort of emphasising the vignette effect.

What was the light hitting in the BG?
To me it makes it look as if it is in a man made setting :shrug:
It is a stunning sharp and close shot of an awesome bird.

I`ll double check next time i`m up there.But there is nothing man made in there, it was taken in a clearing in the middle of a wood.It could be the sunlight reflecting off a tree or just some light coming through a gap in the trees,I really can`t remember.
