Tree sparrow Tom,i know that fence:D.nice pose on the Robin ,a tad dark,but considering where it is i know why,thank you


It's a good fence is'nt it :)

Will try and brighten the Robin up in LR

Very nice photographs. Isn't No1 a House Sparrow.

Davids right, the Tree Sparrow has a dark patch on his light cheek. Nice shots Tom, the BT just has it for me but only just, they're all good (y)

EDIT: Both species are on the endangered red list, the Tree Sparrow having been in decline for longer has been on the list since around 1996, the House Sparrow which is still fairly common to see was added on the 2002 list.

Yep- No1 is a male House Sparrow.
 
Number 1 is a male house sparrow, a tree sparrow would have a brown patch on the head as opposed to the grey patch.
