The herring gull was standing on kelp at the beach at Lizard Point,Cornwall where the old lifeboat station is for anyone who knows the area. The Jackdaw was on Gunwalloe Cove cliffs.

The Gull looks a tad central and soft on the eye to me.The Jackdaw is a very pleasing shot John.

Cheers,Rich. I'll sharpen that eye and see if I can move it a tad out of the central position. I wouldn't normally take a shot of a gull but as you see it's pure white and looks in excellent condition.

I really like to see the jackdaw because of it's blue/grey head and also because it's a bold bird too. They fly onto the tables at the café at Lizard Point as customers leave and also sit on the handrail on the cliff edge at the café waiting for people to leave the tables.
