I have my first hair and makeup shoot tomorrow. So far I have only been trained to use a one light setup by college. Im naturally thinking of using a Beauty dish (those maybe a softbox) and I was just hoping for some last minute tips since this is my first 'proper' shoot.

Is this a shoot you've organised or one you've been asked to shoot by the MUA/model? If the latter then they'll (hopefully) know what they want, otherwise what better time to experiment?
