Hakuba tripods?

So I just won an Hakuba tripod on eBay for the same price as a poorly cephalopod. It was an impulse purchase as it looked a solid bit of kit.

Did I grab a bargain. I know nothing about tripods except that my cheap jessops one fell apart after a few uses.

Don't know if you got a bargain or not but sick squid ain't a lot of money - so if the tripod proves to be as useful as a malaised monopod, you've not wasted much money

You can always use it for lighting or reflectors even if you don't use it for a camera.
