A crocus from the garden on a flooded rainy day. I under exposed it a stop or 2 and then more so in post processing. Then for the first time I learnt how to use masks in photoshop so I could sharpen it but then remove the sharpness on the intentionally blurred bits to keep it soft in places.
I used to 50mm f/1.4 with a 12mm kenko tube.
It's interesting for me in so far as I didn't like this shot at all but managed to get it much more as intended by sharpening. That's not something I'd have thought would work until now as I thought it would just be destructive.
