Hama remote release for Nikon

The above release works with many cameras provided the correct cable is used.

I am looking to use the release with my D800, but that camera is not listed (yet). Hama have failed to reply to my email enquiry.

Anyone know if the release for the D700 will work on the D800 ?

Not much point in asking Nikon. They will not comment on independent accessories.
