Interesting, I wonder how much gear he has lost through his hands fumbling.

Crikey, i was nervous and my hands were sweating watching that but then i don't even like cleaning out my gutters and i live in a bungalow!

Well spotted Graham; will you be away into the hills tomorrow to give it a go?

I would join you but i am a Canon owner so it wouldn't be right...

Fantastic video, agree with him on the colour gamut of film as well.

Almost makes you want to start rock climbing yourself.

I (kinda) hate these videos as they show people doing so much with their lives,a sort of elite, and you want to join them but you know it's so damn hard.

Great video, thanks for posting! I'm off to Fontainebleau next weekend for a week of bouldering - the 5dii is definately going too!

If someone else (who knew what they were doing ) setup the ropes I'd give it a go but no way could I do all that rigging by myself and actually use it!

Looks awesome though, great find!

Rigging is a matter of experience, patience and trust! Backup, check backup, check backup and check again! Then backup some more!

I'm well up for trying that, but as martyp said, I'd want someone else to rig everything up!

Have tried some climbing photography before and yeah taking pics whiles on a wall/rock is a tricky thing and getting a steady shot, he's pretty good at what he does and that rigging looks very technical :) would love to learn that, meh i'll stick with what i know [which is very little compared to him]
