Hi just discovered this section of the website. It has been great looking through the images. This was taken on New Years Eve on the beach as fireworks welcomed in the New Year. The aurora started just before midnight and then it was a case of exposing for the aurora and hoping a rocket would burst at the end of the 20sec exposure. Lucky for me one did.
