Hardcastle Crags

Hi guys,

Took a trip to Hardcastle Crags yesterday, lighing was very poor so shot some waterfall stuff instead, here's a couple for your perusal.

second taken with the Canon 1DmkII and 17-40mm f4'L', first taken with the Canon 1DmkII and 300mm f4'L'

Struggling a bit with the first one but the second one is a cracking shot.
There is almost 2 shots combined there. The right hand part of the image could be a new image in its own right, with a little bit of judicious cropping.
Are there any more?

i like the 2nd one better to be honest.i would have tried to blur the water a bit more..

I can see where you are going with the first, long lens to compress perspective, but the DOF is too narrow to do it justice.

Second is good, with a nice diagonal flow to the comp.
