Has anyone tried this?

If it's hanging from your shoulder you're aware of it and tend to protect it without realising, hanging from a belt I think it'd be easy to walk into tables if it's sticking out,

i thought about one just for changing lenses to give me an extra hand then i saw how much they are so didnt bother.

Totally agree with Wack61 & TTK, most toggers like to have their cameras at the ready (in their hands) and I know that if you were in a crowded town or city it wouldn't be there for long before someone lifted it and before you say "Oh I'd feel them taking it" I can guarantee you wouldn't.

Would probably be good for wedding photographers using two cameras on the fly with different lenses on each camera. It looks like a plastic mount, I think I'd prefer a metal system so there's no risk of snapping.

If it were metal I'd pay the £49.00 for it, but not so keen as it's plastic. I'm one of these guys who likes belt stuff, wouldn't mindf trying some braces too!

59 euros, so £40

That's a lot for a bit of plastic!

I have one, got it at Focus this year, it is plastic but looks sturdy, got mine intending to use it in the studio, as yet have not, reason being, if you are lets say, fond of Pies a tad to much ;) getting the camera off and on is not that easy, so if I ever stop eating to many pies will try it out :D

Fancy parting with it? Lend it for a trial? (cheeky mode - on)

Is it the pies or the pints that have done this to us? :bonk:

Fancy the idea but not the price!

Looks useless to me, I wouldnt trust my camera on one of those scrambling around through bushes, undergrowth, climbing rocks, it would soon get dislodged and smashed against something and as someone as said easy to get relieved of your camera in a crowd, somebody knock it off accidental stick to a hand/neck strap

Both pies and pints :naughty:

Agree wouldn't use it in the field that's for sure

I think I agree with the general consensus here, it's a bit of a dodgy idea as well as being very expensive.

I do not like the standard neck straps though. Positively dislike in fact. Hand strap not for me with my wrist probs.

SO - What about this similarly priced thingy?
