I like this alot :) Great picture of what a mk2 escort should look like :)

Great composition, lacks a little contrast to my eye. Is this shot with at 55-250 IS? mine lacked contrast when i used it, little soft too. Try a high pass and little more contract/saturation. IMHO

Apart from the fact that I now desperately want a mkII its a cracking photo. How different is it from the original?

Thanks for the comments, heres the original just run through photoshop for resizing and to turn into jpeg.

good stuff, looks much more punchy.

get yourself a CPL and that will give you a little more saturation and remove some of the reflection on the windows/paint.

Looks too bright on my screen... again..

Using PS5 this was a straightforward 'Autolevels' then added 10% on 'Shadows'.

Or on this one, in 'Levels' choose the 'Set White Point' picking out the bright white section on the bonnet. Then adding just 5% in 'Shadows'.

Track has a red hue. Some tracks do in real life.

CPLs causes all sorts of peculiar problems with cars with perspex windows - most race cars have perspex side windows and, and some have perspex front screens.
