Have I ordered the wrong one?

Basically I ordered a set of Yonguo rf603 triggers off Amazon and the advert does not include my camera (Canon 550D).

Will this still work with my 550D or are the connections different?

I should have read it all before confirming my order...Golf clap for me.

Looking at these triggers as well. I think you need the c1 version for a 550d

Yeh I just realised after comfirming my order:| I've always been bad for not reading things.

I would think they will still work as flash triggers but the remote release/pc connection may not.

As above, the hotshoe should be righht (?), the difference will be the trigger cable/connector, which is a small coiled lead connected from the RF-603 to the port on the camera body AND which actually hangs annoyingly in the way if you use a short lens.......

Ahh ok, so it should still be ok to use just not as a remote shutter for the camera? I had no plans on using it as a remote shutter as I already have one. I'm just wanting to use the 603's along with my Yongnuo 560iii flash to use "off camera"
