Yes
Just a quick poll.

I'm learning lightroom (2.7) and I love it but even with profiling I cannot get the colours anywhere near right - Canon i9950 printer.

Does anyone out there regularly print successfully from Lightroom?

Thanks in anticipation.

yes, all the time, works great for me (albeit event rather than fine art prints...), using dye sub printer and supplied profile though.

+1

on non event prints works well too, considering a custom profile to just tweak it a little but I think that will push its acuracy beyond my calibrated lappy :p

Never print from LR. I print from PS CS4/5, tried to print from LR and wasted some paper so don't do it now :)

I've printed from Lightroom1 before without problems. Have you got a printer profile and have the enabled/disabled the relevant settings for colour management?

It took a while to get my prints looking identical on paper to screen using PS so now I KNOW how to do it. I have specific profiles for different papers etc. I suppose I could experiment and work it out but as I know how to do it with PS and don't print THAT many it is not an issue (for me at least). Oh and I have several special scripts that I have written to help me.

use lightroom to print all the time canon 6700d printer use the canon profiles that came with printer no problems at all

Thanks for your suggestions everyone.

I'll plod on trying different profiles - any suggestions? In the meantime it's printing excellent black and white especially after tweaking in silver efex pro which can really give a beautiful grain structure to an image.

Have you switched off the colour management in the printer driver so that LR handles the profiles?
