Yes
Got this bit, its mine by Katia & Vince, on Flickr

Wild, visits the ranch bit for free food, also isn't alone.
Shot on a D300 + Tair 300mm f4.5 @ f8 (I think) using an adapter. This is the sharpest of the bunch, I can never tell through the view finder... Approximately 30mtrs in front of me

A Caracara, how common are they where you are???

Certainly colourful for a bird of prey.

Thanks :)

@Boxbrownie : There are at least two close to the ranch. They like the free meat on BBQ/Churasco days. There were some owls there too, but not sure if they still live around there.

@BillN_33 : The camera records the manual lens with only the minimum aperture (f4.5). As its a fully manual lens it doesn't talk back to the camera when set to other f#s. I think I set it to f8 as the depth of field is still pretty small and through the small eye piece, very hard to nail (camera assists with green spot, but usually it just blinks to say close...)

There's an awful lot of Caracas in Brazil.
