Just a grab shot I spotted on road home.
There had been quite a few days of rain and the forecast was for more, so think the farmer had decided to cut "excuse pun" his loses and cut the grass while still pretty damp and green.
Here's another I've given the hay a more traditional colour makeover to and I think the power lines add to this scene, just not too happy with the angle the shot was taken at :shrug:

I think that image DOES make good use of teh power lines...but...can't put my finger on it but, no, I don't like this. Poor crit I know as I can't say why
For some reason I can't see any image in your original post :shrug: but looking at the processed version I think the power lines and pylon actually add to the composition rather than detracting from the main subject. I agree with the previous comments about perhaps choosing a lower perspective, but the main problem with the image for me is that the horizon is too central. If it were placed on a third it might improve the framing.
