I have a Freecom 500gb HD classic with an external power supply. The electrical wire has snapped so I can no longer turn it on - does anyone know where I could get a replacement?

Is there not enough wire to reconnect the two ends (making sure the polarity is the same otherwise you'll kill it)? There are a variety of methods of doing that....

If not, it will tell you on the power supply what voltage, current rating and polarity of the connector is. Just replace with a similar one...
