I've seen HDEW discussed at great length here and Portus as well, I think. I wasn't aware that the link between the two had already been discussed on here.

I bought a Canon 70D from Portus, but their camera range now seems to be limited to Panasonic and Olympus.

I've bought several things from HDEW and always had excellent service.

Couldn't care less as long as I get good service and the warranty is honoured if necessary.
