HDR Candle macro

This is a simple shot of a candle taken on the Canon 1Ds Mk II using the 50mm f1.8 lens and 3 Kenko extension tubes.

I used 3 exposures at -3, 0, +3 stops and combined them in Oloneo.

Nicely done.

However (and you knew there was one coming)
Blur of the light is ok, nice colour capture. The glass ring is blurry and is off putting. The tip of the wick is ever so slightly out of focus and as it is the only bit of detail, your eye goes back to it.

Congrats on shooting the candle though, I find them horrible to attempt pictures of, but nice to look at
