HDR Timelapse Help

I have recently been doing Timelapse shots using my D5000's interval timer and also my MC36 remote. Now i want to try HDR Timelapse but the interval timer is unavailable when you select bracketing! Ive tried various ways using the remote but all that happens is the bracket shots are taken one at a time at the chosen interval instead of shot-shot-shot-interval as i want. Can anyone advise me here?

I'm not familiar with that camera but have you tried using the timer delay mode? With my camera (a Canon), when timer delay and exposure bracketing are both on, all three exposures are taken with one press of the shutter release. Provided the delay time is less than your chosen interval between shots, this would do what you want.

Hmm, with timelapse you need the 3 bracketed shots to fire off all together so how would you set that? I did mess with the delay but was unsucessful. I'll go and have another look.
For the record i tried setting the remote to 1 second intervals then 4 second delay but it just fired off a shot every 1 second... All that delay does is aalows you to set when the cycle begins.

Well on my camera, you would select timer delay mode on the camera, select the interval with the remote, press the remote shutter release, then the camera would take the three bracketed shots in quick succession, wait the specified amount of time and take three more bracketed shots and so on.

Have you tried that?

How about post processing, each of your pictures can be transformed info HDR afterwards. I know It can be a bit time consuming, but surely one of ways of doing it....
