Hi all,
Just got a nice manfrotto 682b through the post from a fellow member, but have no head as yet to put on it - (my Manfrotto tripod has a fixed head ,something I wasn't aware of when I bought it ages ago!)
I'm looking to spend a max of £40 for a head and looked at some of the monopod tilt heads by manfrotto but may need a head for a minitripod/gorillapod I want so am thinking a ball head would better suit my needs.
Can anybody recommend an inexpensive ball head which would take a 60D with 300F4L + 1.4II teleconverter? I might see if anybody wants to offload anything in wanted later.
Also does anybody have the Jessops BH-40 ball and socket head? Its on sale for £15 now at Jessops down from £29 and wondering if that would be a decent buy. I had a little go and it didn't feel so bad but would be interested to head from anybody who has used it regularly.
