Does anyone know of a traditional 3 way head that takes Arca type plates?
I have a Giottos 8360B carbon tripod and a Giottos MH1311 ball head and Wimberley Arca adapter.
I really like the Arca plate as mine is moulded to fit the bottom of my camera correctly so it cannot rotate slowly when shooting portrait with a long lens as the standard Giottos one did. I also prefer the ease of using a 3 way head over a ball head so am looking for a combination of the two - a 3 way head that takes Arca plates.
So far I have found nothing - surely these tripod manufacturers are missing a trick here?
If need be I will have to stick with the ballhead as I much prefer the Arca system.
Thanks
Julian
