Right in the middle of uploading a batch of photos to Flickr, I got a pop-up from the Nikon Messaging Centre to say that a new version of the Messaging Centre software was available, so I downloaded and ran it. Windows then proceeded to shut down without asking or notifying me.
I can't say for certain that it was down to the Nikon software but the only other thing I was doing was reading posts on this forum, and I doubt that that was to blame.
If you get a similar pop-up, I suggest you make sure you're not doing anything else when you download and install the software.
