Hebridean circuit, June 2009

Well, its about time I posted some images for you all to see. We (me + jane) did the Skye>Harris>Uist>Oban circuit in the first half of June, and were truly blessed by great weather. Clear as a bell, fabulous big skies and a cold wind to keep the nadgers at bay.

I'm not a fan of heavy filtration or post-processing as you can see. I know there's some pretty tough competition on here, so what do you think?

Got some really nice shots in there.
Not keen on 1,3 & 8, but the rest are toppers as far as my taste goes.

Can I ask were 4 and 5 taken on North Uist? Looks like the view across the causeway towards Baleshare.

These are lovely, honest images that really bring to life the vast openness of the landscape and the expansive and stunning skies. I wish I could pull photos like this off even with resort to PP. Smashing set.

I like the idea behind nr 3 but would it work better closer to the drawing and with just the hand in view, maybe a shallower dof too just a thought,

N9 is a cracker too
