I was going through my images, and found these, from one of my Op Herrick tours. All taken with a Nikon compact (the logistics of getting a DSLR there, and the potential for damage made a bigger system unattractive), most SOOC. So, they're not up to the standard of some of the fantastic aircraft shots that I see on this forum, but I thought they might be of interest.
1. Chinook and Lynx. The Lynx is AAC.

2. A brace of Lynx; it was unusual to get two serviceable at the same time!

3. Callsign Tricky - MERT Chinook. I'd been looking around the MERT aircraft when the team got a shout.

4. Callsign Ugly - AAC Apache takes off as escort for the MERT helo.

6. Big Boy's Rules - Apache chain gun, capable of delivering high-velocity lead therapy accurately and scarily fast.

7. MERT Merlin (used when Chinook was unavailable) on the helipad at the Role 3 Hospital

8. Afghan Army Air Corps Mil MI17. Nothing on earth would persuade me to go in one of these.
