Hi

i am new heere and just started photography and would like to learn more about it.

I tried doing some food photography today against white paper and two desk lamps and the background always came out purple, anyone know why.

i have a 400d witha standard kit lens and a sigma 70-300mm. I also have a luxi f tripod and thats about it
