Hello all,

I've just purchased my first DSLR a Nikon D3100 + 18-55mm. I also purchased a Tamron 70-300mm F4-5.6 Di LD to get me started.

I took the picture below on my first outing at the Lickey Hills, thought I would share it with you all.

Wow!! I'm new too and I'm very jealous of that as your first photo, I took some of my nephew running at the weekend and kept getting blurry hands,, I will keep practising :)
 
Was that the deal at jessops? I was in there yesterday looking at it!
 
I bought a canon 600d with the 18-55mm lens at Jessops, think I paid over the odds, but just glad to have the camera :)
 
I bought it from Jessops about 2 weeks ago.

The Tamron lens was £100 when bought with the camera. So I thought I might as well as it'll get me started with a zoom, plus it has a Macro option which is handy.
 
Yeah I was looking at that same deal but the salesman told me to wait a few weeks as it should come down in price due to the d3200
