Well I found this forum whilst browsing the web... and well joined as you have a nice community here.

I am currently a professional sports photographer for a company called DEPhoto (www.DEPhoto.co.uk).

My current gear includes:

Canon EOS 1D Mark 2N (used for the sports)
Canon L Series 2.8 70-200MM Lens
580EX Flashgun

Nikon D70S
Sigma 100-300 F4 FX APO Lens
Nikon 18-200 VR
Nikon 18-70 3.3-5.6 DX
SB-800 Flashgun

Indeed I know very few people in my situation, I was and have always been a Nikon loyalist but when I got the job as a sports photographer I went and got the 1D as I felt that the Nikon counterpart was not as good value for money or performance as the 1D... however I am considering the change to a Nikon D3 (if I can afford it!)
